WoodWool is a combination of 50% merino wool and 50% wood fibres.

Merino wool has firmly established itself as a functional fibre over the last 15 years. What speaks in favour of merino wool? The most appreciated property of merino wool is its temperature-balancing function. Wool still warms even when it is already damp. Neither synthetic fibres nor cotton can do that. In addition, wool is antibacterial and therefore does not develop unpleasant odours. Shirts made of merino wool are therefore the perfect companion for longer tours. Wool is a naturally renewable material and therefore uses fewer resources.

To increase the abrasion resistance of the wool, we mix the merino wool with very fine wood fibres. This increases both the durability and therefore the life span as well as the wearing comfort. Our WoodWool feels velvety soft against the skin. On warm days WoodWool provides a cooling effect and on colder days it keeps you warm and dry. WoodWool is sustainable and biodegradable.

The Grüezi bag T-shirt looks very classy thanks to its subtle colouring and it can be combined with many other items of clothing. The rounded neckline looks very sporty over trousers.

Design and cut

We love colours and fresh designs, as long as they are not too gaudy. Our designs have their own signature and can be combined in many ways.

Because of the raglan cut, we can do without seams on the top of the shoulders. This means that nothing chafes when a backpack is worn. Our cuts are close to the body but offer enough freedom of movement and do not constrict.

WoodWool T-shirts are just as suitable for everyday wear as they are for sporting activities.
